CLICK HERE: Promise Zone Young Professionals Coalition Service Day
The St. Louis Promise Zone relies on engaged and dedicated individuals to help the overall progression towards racial equity and empowering local communities. Without the work being done by professionals such as yourself, the Promise Zone would stand still, failing to achieve sustainable, equitable, resource-rich communities that the region desperately needs.
It is within this notion that Iām emailing you to gauge your interest in seeking additional opportunities to be a part of positive change in the St. Louis Promise Zone.
The St. Louis Promise Zone has organized a coalition of Young Professionals to engage in actions surrounding the 6 Promise Zone goals: Increase Economic Activity, Reduce Serious and Violent Crime, Improve Educational Outcomes, Encourage Transformative Development, Improve Health and Wellness, and Increase Workforce Readiness. This is not just another networking group, but is a way for young professionals, such as yourself, from various organizations to collaborate and put projects into action. We are launching our round two projects next month and are excited about their potential.
To kick-off our second round of projects, we invite you to our Promise Zone YP Coalition community service event on Saturday, September 7th from 7am - 10am. We will be running a Cheer Station at the annual Northside Trap Run located at 4057 Evans Ave in The Ville. This event is for the Young Professionals to get to know one another ahead of the first official 2019 Round 2 Coalition meeting in October.
We hope that this opportunity will help grow and support connections between young leaders like yourself, better enabling you to create great change across the St. Louis Promise Zone, and beyond.
