CLICK HERE: Prosecutors and the Future of Public Safety in St. Louis

The role of prosecuting attorney has been under much scrutiny in the St. Louis region over the last half-decade. During this same period, St. Louis has elected candidates running on reform platforms to both the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s office and St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.

Join us for this important conversation, following in the footsteps of our Future of Policing in St. Louis forum last year. Hear from regional prosecuting attorneys on how they see their role in the future of public safety in St. Louis.

The hot spotlight of media attention on prosecutors, where much of the work is behind legal barriers to transparency, can be both productive and challenging. The role of prosecuting attorneys takes on an even bigger significance against a wider background of criminal justice reform movements, including community policing, decarceration, and addiction and mental health treatment.
